DETERRENCE

The Deterrence (MDCTB – Manage Disorderly Conduct and Threatening Behaviour) course equips security personnel with the knowledge and practical skills to manage aggressive, disorderly, and potentially threatening situations in the workplace. Learners will be trained to identify early signs of conflict, apply effective communication and de-escalation techniques, maintain a visible security presence, and respond professionally to challenging situations while following workplace SOPs and legal guidelines. This course is part of Singapore’s PWM Security framework and is a mandatory progression course for Security Officers advancing to Senior Security Officer (SSO) roles.
