The Deterrence (PAPP – Protect Assets and Prevent Pilferage) course equips learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to safeguard assets, prevent theft, and minimise losses within the workplace. Participants will learn how to identify potential security risks, detect suspicious activities, conduct preventive security measures, and respond appropriately to incidents involving theft, pilferage, or asset loss. The course also covers observation techniques, incident handling, reporting procedures, and the implementation of loss prevention measures. Designed under Singapore’s PWM Security framework, this WSQ-certified programme prepares security personnel to protect people, property, and organisational assets effectively in commercial, retail, industrial, and residential environments.
