How to Apply Online
A walkthrough of the actual GoBusiness application process, screen by screen.
Applying for your PLRD isn't complicated, but the GoBusiness portal can be confusing the first time round, especially with Singpass in the mix. Here's the process broken down properly, step by step, with screenshots so you know exactly what you're looking at.

Find the Security Officer Licence Application New
Head to the GoBusiness website and look for the Security Officer Licence page under the Singapore Police Force section. This is where the whole application starts.
Open the Security Officer Licence page on GoBusinessOnce you're on that page, click "Log In for Individual Users." You'll need to scan a QR code using your Singpass app, so have your phone ready.
Log In and Verify With Singpass
After scanning the first QR code, click "Apply." A second QR code will show up, scan this one too with your Singpass app to confirm it's really you applying.
Once that's done, click "I Agree" to move forward.
Check Your Details and Fill In the Application
Go through every field carefully. One mistake here can hold up your application later, so don't rush this part.
If this is your first time applying, go to "Courses Attended" and select "None of the Above", that's correct for first-timers, even if it feels odd to tick.
Not ready to finish in one sitting? You can save your draft and come back to it later. No need to rush through everything in one go.
Upload Your Documents and Complete the Declaration
If the form asks for supporting documents, attach them here. Take a moment to read through everything before you continue, this is your last chance to catch any errors before the declaration page.
Once you're confident everything's correct, go through the declaration section and confirm.
Make Payment
Last step. Once you've reviewed everything, click "Make Payment" to complete your application. You'll get a confirmation once it goes through.
That's it, your PLRD application is officially submitted.

Need Your OBSE or Other Modules Before You Apply?
You can't get your PLRD without completing the right WSQ modules first. If you haven't done OBSE, RTT, or HSIS yet, sort that out before you start your application, it'll save you a trip back and forth.
