  • Orientate on the layout of premises in relation to access control points & show the exact location
  • Explain the control & issuance of keys
  • Explain the control of vehicles at the entrance & restricted areas
  • Explain the control of the movement of goods
  • Explain the use of access control equipment & systems

Conduct Induction on Patrolling
  • Orientate security officers on patrolling premises according to organisational procedures
  • Show security officers the use of patrolling equipment
  • Bring security officers on patrol routes & critical points
  • Explain reporting of risks, hazards & defects according to organisational procedures

Conduct Induction on Security and Alarm Systems
  • Orientate security officers on the use of equipment & control panel
  • Explain Command Centre operations according to organisational procedures
  • Explain operational status & readiness of the system to security officers
  • Show security officers a list of contact persons in case emergencies arise
  • Show security officers the steps to make telephone calls to appropriate authorities when emergencies occur
